The first flagship store for MARIHA, which showcases the brand’s entire collection of items including jewelry and summer dresses, has opened on the basement floor of Omotesando Hills, located on the main street of a commercial district in Tokyo.

To ensure that the whole interior is visible from the entrance, displays are designed with a low height, and the aisles are kept wide to echo the spacious corridors of the shopping facility, creating an inviting atmosphere. The storefront features displays and a monitor to convey the brand's concept and aesthetic. Behind the retail area, there is a lounge space for relaxed customer interaction along with two fitting rooms.

The interior elements are crafted to reflect the style of MARIHA, which meticulously considers materials and silhouettes, inspired by the traditional Japanese aesthetic of "kachoufugetsu" (the beauty of nature: flower, bird, wind, and moon). The store is primarily composed of natural materials such as refined gold-colored steel, marble, and oak, which are the brand's signature colors.

The large frame display in the central space showcases a variety of jewelry pieces within a single glass case, designed to convey the harmonized aesthetics and materiality. Each piece is presented as if it were a museum specimen, envisioned on a grand stage, allowing customers to enjoy browsing while appreciating the uniqueness of each item.

The display of the glass cases features styling in collaboration between interior stylist Yumi Nakata and MARIHA, where items are arranged like a landscape; presented for customers to experience the concepts and stories behind the jewelry. The walls are fitted with hangers for displaying dresses and adjustable shelves to create varied seasonal scenes throughout the year.

The curved forms of the jewelry are reflected in the interior details; from the rounded corners of the walls to the bespoke linear pendant lamp made from a translucent acrylic pipe, enhancing the tranquility of the space.

The main counter is crafted from marble, showcasing MARIHA's elegant and timeless brand identity. The logo on the back counter is placed asymmetrically, adding a touch of Japanese essence and space for styling.

The quality of the space emerges from thoughtfully integrating the brand's concept into every detail. The beautifully displayed products, akin to a museum, allow customers to experience the aesthetics of MARIHA. We are proud to say it has become a flagship store that truly deserves its title.
